ANF#DEFEATCOVID-19 OUTREACH TO KUSA STREET BARIGA LADILAK (EXTREME END)

The extreme end of Kusa Street is a stark contrast to the entrance of the street.

While well-structured storey buildings line both sides of the entrance of the relatively long street, unbelievably, at the tail end of the same street, the adjoining sides (with all due respect) can only be described as a slum.

The environment is densely populated and the houses (mostly delapidated buildings) knitted together.

An outbreak of Corona Virus in such a place would be disastrous.

ANF is therefore using this media to call on the government and other concerned bodies to extend aids to these residents.

We have also identified the need to educate the residents on the importance of social distancing and contant washing of hands.

However, our major concern is that we can not assertain the availability of pipe born water supply in the area.

It is note worthy that the residents of the extreme end of Kusa Street who are majorly youth, are resonsive to us, ANF workers, as we embarked on our door to door distribution of food items.

ANF distributes handy pocket-size sanitizers to residents of Palmgrove Shomolu.
